Our products are revolutionizing the software industry and helping teams collaborate and craft that magic in delivering their best work. Think NASA launching the Rover on Mars or Cochlear gifting children born deaf with the ability to hear, your work directly impacts the products they use to advance humanity.

You will be leading a strong technology team in the Bay Area that helps build core functionality and scale Atlassian products. The primary focus of your role will be to provide technical leadership, ensure commitments stay on track, remove any roadblocks, and facilitate fast execution & timely decision-making. In addition, you will lead this team of Atlassians and ensure their growth and success. You will also collaborate across Atlassian to ensure project dependencies and deliveries are handled well.

More about you

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years in engineering management following Agile development processes
  • Prior experience running a platform team
  • Significant experience as a full stack cloud developer building large scale web software, as well as leading a development team.
  • Ability to contribute to the technical and business strategy of the team
  • BS (or higher) in CS or related field
