Talent Engagement Coordinator

The Talent Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the strategy, logistics and execution of Asurion's diversity and university relations program. The coordinator will be on the front-line representing the Asurion employment brand and ensuring that we attract the best and brightest candidates. The coordinator will work in partnership with the VP of HR/TA for Corporate Functions and Emerging Markets, and the leadership for Diversity Recruiting and Talent Marketing. The role will also work with university leaders/professors, Asurion's employee resource groups and members in the community to help build brand awareness and excitement and attract talent. The position requires high energy, collaboration, event management, creative thinking and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative events and talent strategies that build effective relationships with key influencers in order to attract the best and brightest talent
  • Develop relationships with Employee Resource Groups, University Leaders & Professors and others in the community to assist in overall insight and activities for diversity and university recruiting
  • Coordinate events at assigned universities and other locations ensuring timeliness and strong brand representation
  • Monitor and control budget relating to events
  • Coordinate other internal and external activities related to talent engagement or the internship program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years in campus recruiting, event management or a professional HR role
  • Ability to form relationships easily and influence others
  • Work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Self-manage multiple demanding projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with strong follow up skills and ability to multi-task
  • Must be highly experienced with various office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • 20-40% travel either locally and nationally depending on the recruiting season
