Sr. Manager/Manager Soluto Product Marketing
We’re in search of a high energy Product Marketer will co-lead the brand strategy and marketing execution for our support product line including the Soluto® sub-brand. Soluto® is a next generation, category-redefining support experience that is going to revolutionize how customers utilize and get more out of their connected home/connected life. We are looking for a marketer to help tell that story to our clients and customers.
You will support marketing programs to establish the Soluto® brand and support efforts in channel enablement, new business development, customer adoption, and influencing of future product development activity via consumer insights.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Market Insight: Be the expert on the needs of consumers and wireless carriers (corporate and the field); be the expert on the competition and how to differentiate our offerings
Product Messaging: Help develop product positioning, value prop, branding and messaging by working alongside our product management, channel marketing and sales teams
Marketing Plan: Co-plan the launch of new products and releases and partner with the account teams to manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Sell-Through Execution: Support channel readiness enablement by partnering with the account teams to train the sales force and develop the tools to drive the sell-through in the channel
Business Development: Support business development activities to expand our offerings with the carriers
Shape New Products: Monitor the pulse of consumers and capture feedback to enhance future versions of the product
Our ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to think strategically but also execute flawlessly, and have 5 years of experience within a Product Marketing or Product Management function.
A results-driven performer, this individual will demonstrate the ability to manage cross-functional relationships, have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovative products and programs. We want a person that has a proven track record in developing compelling value propositions, product messaging and positioning, implementing creative sales tools and launching products.
Candidates for the position should possess the following professional experience and qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA preferred
- Ability to create and successfully implement product marketing plans, and to translate technical solutions into crisp, sales rep and consumer friendly communications
- A flexible nature and the ability to perform and provide strategic insight/growth within an ambiguous environment
- Understanding of marketing strategy and tactics with solid business acumen
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Word
