Sr Manager, Marketing Strategy

SUMMARY

Workingindependently and with limited supervision, the Marketing Manager/SeniorManager, Marketing Strategy will be responsible for using insights to recommendand implement strategies to drive the direction of initiatives. This positionrequires strong presentation skills, a deep understanding of data/analytics,experience writing and interpreting consumer research, and an ability toindependently translate the vision cast by the leadership team. The managerwill be interested in, and, able to understand and capture market trends thataffect our business. Most decisions madewill be made without prior approval from his or her supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Generateand interpret insights from internal and external research, as well as other3rd parties to create strategies and plans for core business
  • Actas a generalist with the ability to perform basic cost-benefit analysis as wellas craft a story and create presentation materials independently
  • Performother related marketing duties and manage other projects as needed within thegeneral nature and scope of this role.

BASIC AND PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • AccreditedBachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Atleast two years of management consulting experience
  • Experienceworking with marketing analytics and consumer research a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOBSKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Proficientknowledge of Microsoft Word and Xcel
  • AdvancedPowerPoint and storytelling ability (absolute requirement)
  • Expertproject planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize andcontrol job responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Abilityto remain effective under pressure; ability to handle stress in a manner thatis acceptable to others and to the organization
  • Abilityto analyze complex, evolving situations independently, or as a team member, toarrive at productive, sustainable solutions
