Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

The Sr.Manager, Supply Chain Financial Planning and Analysis, will fill a criticalrole on Asurion’s Supply Chain Finance team. The position serves as a keyresource to the business to help recognize and drive the identification,delivery, and measurement of full potential initiatives. In this role,he/she will lead a team responsible for supporting / working with internationalsupply chain teams, such as the US, LATAM, Philippines, and Europe, to ensureSupply Chain Operations best practices and consistent approach are inplace. This role helps drive theprofitability of Supply Chain by aiding the team to drive down program costs.

In additionto the primary responsibilities, he/she will support and lead portions of awide range of analysis, including development of Supply Chain’s annual businessplans, monthly/quarterly/annual financial projections for key stakeholders,business case analysis, business scenario modeling, and other analyticalrequests and projects.

The idealcandidate will have exceptional financial analysis skills and the ability totranslate that analysis into actionable insights for the business. Additionally,it is critical that the candidate possessexcellent business acumen, a strongability to lead and influence others, and solid communication skills. The candidate must be customer-centric, havestrong interpersonal skills, be able to balance the demands of arapidly-growing global company, and must be results-driven.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a teamresponsible for the identification, tracking, reporting, and variance analysisof key business initiatives along with ongoing Supply Chain operations
  • Support theSupply Chain organization in evaluating the financial impacts surroundingstrategic and operational business activities and opportunities
  • Manage anddevelop relationships with the Supply Chain leadership team to become a trustedbusiness partner and influence key decisions & activities
  • Serve as aninternal consultant and provide ongoing support to the global supply chainorganization
  • Provide teamleadership and/or functional level expertise to cross-functional project teamsas assigned, scope ranging from department level to enterprise wide level
  • Providead-hoc analysis as needed to help business partners make better decisions in atimely manner
  • Supportthe development and lead portions of theSupply Chain Annual Operating Plan “AOP”, including revenue/cost projections,operational and strategic initiatives, and capital/IT investments
  • Support thedevelopment of monthly/quarterly/annual forecast
  • Forecast, track, and report Supply Chain capital& IT expenditures. Pressure test the related business cases and providerecommendations to approve, modify orreject

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A proventrack record of academic and professional excellence
  • Superb team leader with a demonstrated abilityto attract, develop, and maintain top talent
  • 7 years ofrelated business experience with demonstrated progression of responsibility orposition. Supply Chain experience preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’sdegree, preferably in economics, finance, or accounting. MBA preferred
  • Hands-onleadership style with a proven ability to drive results
  • In depthfinancial planning, financial analysis, data mining, and modelingexpertise. Strong Excel financialmodeling skills are critical
  • Demonstratedability to consult and advise business unit leaders on a range of issuesrelated to financial performance, business planning, strategic opportunities,and business case analysis
  • Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills
  • Intermediateto advanced technical skill, including proficiency with Microsoft Officesuite. Experience with SQL, Hyperion Planning,Hyperion Essbase is desirable but not required
