Operations Engineer 2 (Tibco)

  • As the Tibco Operations Support Analyst, responsible forproviding technical expertise and support to the Asurion claims processingplatform. This individual will work with other technologists to ensure andregain (where required) stability and functionality across variousinfrastructures for support applications. This individual will be asked todrive the necessary changes across the Tibco environment to achieve a 99.99%level of availability both reactively and proactively. Position will requireproduction support on-call rotation, excellent technical, organizational, andcommunication skills.

Experience and Education

o BAor BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

o 2more years’ experience with Tibco EMS 4.x and later, Tibco Hawk 4.7 and later,Tibco EMS APIs

o Musthave 2 or more years’ operational experience with large-scale Business Works,EMS and Hawk implementations.

o 2more years scripting environments and specifically PERL

o Workingknowledge of C/C , Java, and C#

o Workingknowledge of windows based systems

o Musthave working knowledge of developing production software using managed code(.Net, J2EE)

o Workingknowledge of SAN storage solutions

o Workingknowledge of cloud technologies (Amazon EC2/S3, Azure)

o Workingknowledge of ITIL v3
