Manager/Sr. Manager Product Marketing

Essential duties and responsibilities
We’re in search of a high energy and highly motivated Product Marketer who will be responsible for leading efforts to evolve how we market and articulate the value and benefits of our category leading protection services. We are looking for a marketer that can help tell our story to our client teams (internal), clients (B2B) and to our customers (B2C).
A strategic partner with the Product Management team to identify and deliver initiatives that can provide leverage for our channel enablement, new business development, customer adoption efforts. You will also influence future product development activity by driving consumer insights.
- Product Positioning and Strategy: Be the expert on the competition and how to best differentiate our offerings. Develop product positioning that effectively distinguishes our products by partnering with Product Management and Client Marketing.
- Consumer Insight: Work with the Marketing Research team to identify priority consumer insights that lead to new message strategies and product ideas that help fill the product pipeline.
- Sell-Through Execution: Support both the retail and mobility businesses by partnering with the account teams to train the sales force and develop the tools to drive sell-through in the channel.
- Product Introductions: Support Client Marketing with key product introductions in client channels. Develop plan and toolkits needed to support new business development and other growth oriented initiatives.
Demonstrate the ability to think strategically but also execute flawlessly. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing or product management. Strong understanding of wireless or retail channels and levers that drive product growth. In addition, industry experience in Technology, Mobile, Consumer Services or other relevant B2B2C industries is preferred.
A results-driven performer, this individual will demonstrate the ability to manage cross functional relationships, have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovative products and programs. We want a person that has a proven track record in developing compelling value propositions, product messaging and positioning, and implementing creative sales tools.

o Ability to translate technical content into crisp, sales rep and consumer friendly communications
o Strong leadership, interpersonal and verbal skills; maintains high expectations and raises the bar for Marketing creative output
o A flexible nature and the ability to perform and provide strategic insight/growth within an ambiguous environment
o High learning agility paired with strong quantitative and problem solving skills
o Ability to consider and address issues ranging from senior decision makers within a client to the individual consumer
o Management and leadership that reflects and encourages commitment to Asurion Core Values
o Exceptional work ethic; does whatever it takes, with resolve, urgency, and integrity, to get the job done
o Excellent written communication skills, specifically in PowerPoint and Word
o Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
