Marketing Analytics team at Asurion helps the company make informed decisions. As experts in subscriber growth performance and drivers, we inform, advise, and recommend data driven decision making and performance optimization. As a member of the Marketing Analytics team, this role will lead subscriber/sales forecasting, planning, measurement, analytics, and reporting for one of Asurion's leading North American client accounts. The insights and information from the analyses will support decisions that drive subscriber growth, program evaluation, investment and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have superior analytical skills, strong business acumen, familiarity with big data analysis tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and solid communication skills. The candidate must be customer-centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done.


  • Develop and implement financial and mathematical models that will help identify areas to improve performance of key drivers
  • Serve as subject matter expert in analytics and support projects that directly impact financial performance
  • Be a trusted partner and go-to contact for key stakeholders on performance metrics and drivers
  • Package and communicate trends and insights to key stakeholders including senior leadership in a timely and effective manner
  • Conduct deep dive analysis into subscriber behavior and trends across different channels and client accounts
  • Support development of Asurion's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by contributing to modeling subscriber projections, and analysis of initiatives
  • Lead sales target setting processes including performance measurement, analysis, optimization and reporting
  • Analyze subscriber metrics and identify statistically significant cause-and-effect relationships between key business drivers
  • Perform subscriber and financial modeling and analysis for new products and initiatives to support product development and new initiatives
  • Identify and report on key drivers of subscriber growth
  • Ensure data quality and integrity
  • Provide Business Intelligence and Analytical expertise for developing reports, and creating dashboards
  • Work with partners to secure new sources of program data
  • Create/improve data analytics and reporting processes wherever appropriate and applicable, and work cross functionally to drive automation
  • Interact positively and pro-actively between departments to promote a team work philosophy

  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as analytics, engineering, statistics, etc.
    • 3+ years' experience in data analysis and modeling, consulting, planning/forecasting, sales/marketing/product operations and/or analytics, or any combination of these roles
    • 3+ years' experience using advanced Excel
    • 3+ years' experience using data to inform business decision making and/or to drive results
    • Experience working with large data sets and using tools and frameworks to manage, analyze and visualize data to identify trends and report findings
    • Experience using statistical analysis approaches, tools, and techniques
    • Proficiency using PowerPoint
  • Preferred
    • Master's in business or analytics
    • Sales and/or marketing operations/analysis experience
    • Familiarity with using SQL
    • Experience/familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.
    • Experience/familiarity with data analysis packages such as R, SAS, SPSS, etc. for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and/or visualization
