Growth Marketer - Customer Engagement

Asurion is seeking a talented Growth Marketer to join our growing team in San Mateo, CA. If you are an experienced product or marketing leader driven by a passion for delivering value to customers, we want to meet you.

Asurion's incredible team of Soluto experts help millions of customers each year answer their tech questions and solve their tech challenges. They strive to provide the best possible service to our customers on every interaction, and customers who talk to us love us. We need to make sure all of our customers know about our Soluto experts and the knowledge they can provide, try it out, and remember to use us anytime they have a tech question.

The Growth Marketer, along with their Creative, Development, and UX partners, will set requirements and determine the best technology solution to engage with our customers via email, SMS, and in-app content. This role will create and drive the engagement strategy, use test and learn methodologies, analyze data to determine success, and continuously iterate on the strategy. The product manager will work very closely with the Creative team as they find the right content to achieve the desired outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

    Partnering with Creative, Development, and UX leads to drive cross-functional teams in the definition, selection, and ongoing use of an engagement platform Owning the team's Key Performance Indicators and using them as the North Star to guide all team decisions. Making decisions based on whatever will have the greatest impact on your KPIs, not by what is on a roadmap. Developing 'MVP Tests' to prove (or disprove) your hypothesis and demonstrate a 'Test & Learn' mindset within your team Utilizing data tools to generate actionable product insights, and creating executive level presentation of those insights Have a technical acumen that allows for a complete understanding of the fundamental technologies which impact how a customer receives content, and know how to leverage technology and systems to gain clear market advantages Demonstrate the interpersonal skills to interface well with all other disciplines of the business at an Executive, managerial level, as well as a front line team level

You are the Right Applicant If:
    Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or other Master's Degree preferred You want to master the craft of customer engagement and help others do the same You have 7+ years of digital marketing, user acquisition, product management, or other relevant experience You have created and owned a strategy for customer acquisition and retention You have driven email, SMS, and in-app engagement campaigns, and constantly adjusted your strategy based on measured results You have implemented one of the major engagement platforms, such as Marketo, Leanplum, Hubspot, Pardot, or others You get excited by utilizing data to make decisions and measure success yet can balance data with great intuition and customer knowledge You enjoy leading cross-functional teams and people like working with you You are comfortable communicating complex business and technical issues and have executive presence You bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your product endeavors Occasional domestic travel may be required
