Diversity Recruiting Leader (Nashville, TN)

Asurion is seeking a creative and data driven Diversity Recruiting Leader to help design, build and execute Recruitment and Selection strategies and programs in support of our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives. This role reports directly to the Vice President of H.R. & T.A. for Corporate Functions and Emerging Markets.

The focus of this role is to build successful diverse talent pipelines for the enterprise through innovative, data driven sourcing, recruitment and selection practices. The ideal candidate will be experienced in identifying key external organizations to partner with in order to execute their defined recruitment strategy. As a subject matter expert in the Diversity field, you will be responsible for both designing and driving overall strategy as well as working with the business to hire diverse talent to support Asurion's overarching D&I program.

Key focus areas:

  • In partnership with the Vice President of HR and TA for Corporate and Emerging Markets, design the D&I recruiting roadmap and strategy
  • Work collaboratively with Recruiters, Sourcers, and Centers of Excellence (COE) to build our D&I capability partnering with stakeholders to execute on that plan
  • Collaborate with internal customers and business leaders to understand their unique needs and build solutions accordingly
  • Build talent pipeline functionality for diverse candidates
  • Use data and metrics to help drive hiring decisions
  • Build relationships across all COEs to ensure D&I is a key focus
  • Connect and inspire people to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
  • Define measureable KPIs and report on learnings and results
  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups, Diversity Council and other stakeholders to champion and lead grass root engagement


  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in an ever changing landscape
  • Prior experience of building programs from the ground up, and establish external partnerships
  • Diversity recruiting experience – passionate about recruiting, drive for results, metric driven
  • Experience with building talent pipeline and proactive sourcing
  • Experience designing and delivering diversity programs/strategy
  • Highly data driven; strong analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years Diversity recruiting experience
  • 5-7 years end to end recruiting experience
