About the Role

Based in Menlo Park, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and leading the company’s interactive & social marketing function with an emphasis on brand awareness, customer acquisition/retention, and detailed execution & analysis. S/he will lead multi-channel acquisition and retention efforts using email, display, social, and mobile media - leveraging internal campaign framework, as well as to partner with external vendors and sponsors. S/he will be forward-looking, creative, focused on growth and results, and excited to pioneer innovative digital marketing platforms and tactics while ensuring a consistent message and position.

This individual will report to the Head of Marketing Communications, and work closely with the VP of Marketing and the Data Science team to play a key role in creating a state of the art digital marketing infrastructure.

The successful candidate will:

  • Create and execute a clearly defined marketing strategy that aligns with SelfScore’s product and business objectives while building brand awareness and scalability.

  • Design and own a comprehensive digital customer acquisition strategy that leads to retention and long-term value

  • Be an expert at SEO/SEM, social, and mobile growth strategies and confidently manage & optimize all execution tools

  • Have experience with digital content distribution, and tactics to maximize qualified traffic

  • Manage the instrumentation and execution of life-cycle management via email, SMS, and platform notifications

  • Actively identify and investigate innovative, high-potential channels to test and incorporate into the broader acquisition plan

  • Collaborate closely with product and development teams in aligning all digital marketing and communication efforts with product & segmentation roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain key performance metric reports that track performance and efficiency of marketing efforts

  • Be the champion for all digital platforms and manage internal stakeholders communications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum 3+ years of demonstrated success in consumer digital acquisition and customer life-cycle management

  • A track record of success in growing a brand through lead generation/acquisition and digital campaign management including an
    understanding of optimization and the implications between channels

  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills

  • High-energy, can-do attitude

  • Online media buying and/or agency experience is a plus

  • Prior experience in financial services a plus

  • Prior experience that makes you empathetic to the needs of international students a plus
