Mid-Market Account Executive - DACH

As a member of our growing Online (Inside) sales org, you will be instrumental in defining, testing, and growing an outbound (new/existing) sales model that balances bottoms-up scale with a preference on top-down positioning.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Manage the relationship with some of our largest Mid Market Companies
  • 70% of your time will be spent landing net new business or growing low penetrated paying Mid Market accounts  
  • 30% of your time will be spent expanding some of our most exciting Mid Market accounts in EMEA
  • Prove out Top Down selling motions & methodologies
  • Experiment with new processes that scale across Asana globally
  • Collaborate with multiple crossfuntional partners across EMEA & the globe, specifically: Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Solutions Engineering
  • Accelerate growth for Asana in EMEA
  • Help Organisations in EMEA become more productive & collaborative by driving change through work management

About you

  • 3-5 years experience as an account executive in SaaS and/or enterprise software
  • 1+ selling in the Mid-Market/Enterprise segment
  • Selling and supporting SaaS business models
  • Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity
  • The instincts to recognize organizational, financial and behavioral structures and obstacles
  • Experience working with internal marketing, business, and product teams to find efficient paths to successful and profitable customers
  • Demonstrable experience developing territories
  • The continued use of a repeatable sales process & use of SFDC
  • Creation of and adherence to account plans
  • Ability to land net new customers, win market-share and grow existing accounts
  • Good person who is hungry to progress their career
  • Additional Language (one or many)
  • Knowledge of Change Management practices
  • History in the Productivity and Collaboration markets
  • Selling to Director/VP/C-level and supporting the Marketing, Sales and Collaboration (IT) functions
  • Participated in a rapidly scaling business
