Warehouse Associate Lead

Position Title: Warehouse Associate Lead Requisition Number: 96203

At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Associate Lead in our Windsor, Connecticut location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the activities necessary to receive, sort, clean, transfer, pack, inventory, tear down and shipping of customer assets. Inspection of shipments for damage and conformity to manifest specifications; identify and report shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies.
  • Monitor activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders/shipments.
  • Maintain system transactions and paperwork that validate the processing of material though the company’s warehouse management system APD;
  • Coordinate and monitor the work load and flow of all Warehouse Associates assigned to the work areas to assure that standards for efficiency, quality, safety and housekeeping are maintained; serve as a backup to all functions in the work area
  • Assist the warehouse supervisor in the maintenance of departmental records and reports, including daily roster and other recordkeeping activities related to ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and production quality;
  • Assist in the training of employees as it pertains to company work methods, processing procedures, and technical skill development; assist in the reporting of accidents and injuries to the department manager and other designated points of contact (HR, EHS);
  • Assist the warehouse supervisor in planning and maintaining departmental goals and objectives;
  • Refer issues and problems to management and/or appropriate support groups as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years warehousing experience, preferably in an environment involving electronic assets
  • Proficient level business process knowledge in picking, packing and shipping of PC, laptop, network, server, and peripheral components;
  • Tolerance for the physical demands of working in a warehouse (ability to stand, lift, bend and kneel for extended periods of time in an environment that is not climate controlled);
  • Ability to safely load, transfer, and unload pallets and skids (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
  • Proficient knowledge of WMS;
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel);
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated maturity and ability to coordinate and motivate a team
  • Ability to read and write English; ability to read and understand written work instructions
  • Ability to safely use material handling tools and equipment;
  • Ability to work overtime as needed


  • College degree
  • Forklift Certification


  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and push items
  • Ability to operate a forklift
