Job Description:

Position Summary: Under the direction of a Shipping Supervisor oversees labor distribution and workflow to ensure quality and production goals are met daily. Runs and analyzes hourly, daily and monthly quality and production reports, ensuring that key synergies are being capitalized on between operating units. Assist employees by responding to questions, providing supplemental training, and ensuring that they have the proper tools necessary to do their job. Oversees handoff points between operating units to assist in successful workflow depending on time of day. Provides support to Warehouse Associates with supplies, tools, training, etc. and is able to jump in and provide production support as needed in any area. Maintains a clean work environment and assists with 5S on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Assists with quality operator instructions and ensures associates are following the proper instructions. Audits associates as needed to create consistency. Assists in the closing duties for the Outbound department on a nightly basis, and effectively communicates strategy and needs to the morning management staff

  • Evaluate needs for respective areas to balance labor as needed/requested
  • Ensure effective workflow through both cells and between departments
  • Microsoft Suite - Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Work with other leads/supervisors to address labor management and prioritization needs
  • Maintain assigned reports to ensure timely delivery of picks and support of Outbound operations
  • Check internal systems for volume for the day to plan needs
  • Assist team members with their duties as needed
  • Maintain multiple deliverables at once and follow-up with key stakeholders as needed/required
  • Manage workflow coming into and exiting the department and appropriate resources as needed
  • Work on escalated requests as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of entry level management experience
  • Ability to multi-task in ambiguous environment
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple functions and operating units
  • Outstanding Attendance record
  • Able to consistently strive to meet and or exceed goals
  • High degree of autonomy and self-motivation
