At present, A. E. Petsche Company, a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in our Pooler, Georgia location.
Summary:
The Warehouse Associate prepares packages and processes shipments for international and domestic customers. This may require use of computers, emails, scanners, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Support in one or more departments: shipping, storing, order fulfillment, value added shop, etc.
- Processes and repackages materials to customer needs as specified
- Prepare shipments via various small package, LTL, and air carriers. This may include special documentation, labeling, and international documents.
- Maintain work and product storage areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years general warehouse experience
- Works well in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Executes well on directions provided
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with RF equipment and AS400 preferred.
