Systems and Infrastructure Manager

Arrow Electronics has an excellent opportunity for a Systems and Infrastructure Manager in our Englewood, CO location. This technical manager will direct the team responsible for internal dedicated and cloud server infrastructure. This role will be working closely with others in maintaining and expanding our network infrastructure, servers and data storage. The ideal candidate is someone that has in-depth experience managing teams in an enterprise-level environment, a strong desire to learn new skills and have fun doing it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive employee relationships and nurture professional growth.
  • Work on various system projects related to Windows, Linux, storage, network, database, web and application support.
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and projects/operational requirements
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical related field or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams and growing an organization
  • Experience architecting and implementing high-availability server infrastructure
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux server environments
  • LAN\WAN architecture, VPN, MPLS
  • Network Security, DDOS mitigation
  • Experience developing and implementing fail-over, back up and disaster recovery solutions
  • Knowledge of quality management and change control principals
  • Understanding of n-tier application architecture and technologies (web servers, database servers, load balancers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as – Puppet, Salt, Chef, Ansible, CFEngine
  • Experience with application monitoring tools – New Relic, AppDynamics, nagios, Sumo Logic, Splunk
  • Experience with web technologies – IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, Solr, Elastic search
  • Experience hosting database technologies – Mysql, SQLServer, MongoDB
  • Experience with build/deployment tools – Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy
  • Experience with host based security – Tripwire, Host Pen Test exposure, OS hardening, App signature suppression


  • Experience administering Sitecore environments
  • Experience with SAN configuration and optimization
  • Experience administering RHEL environments
  • Experience managing Rackspace environments
