Job Description:
Job Narrative:•Responsible for the planning and execution of operational audit, SOX, and compliance projects•Identify and present audit issues and recommendations to appropriate business management•Partners with business owners to evaluate process or control opportunities to strengthen the control environment of the company•Participates in any ad-hoc projects as required including investigations•Participates in the preparation of financial and enterprise-wide risk assessments, and the annual internal audit plan•Develop and review the audit methodology, audit program and work paper standards to improve on the team's efficiency and effectiveness•Coach and mentor staff to ensure goals are meet•Perform other duties as assignedJob Holder Requirements:•University graduate in Accounting or Finance discipline•CPA qualified or equivalent•Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in Public Accounting and/or Auditing with 2 years of commercial experience•Experience in performing operational audits is preferred•Knowledge/ experience in US GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley is preferred•Working knowledge of ACL or equivalent is preferred•Strong analytical skills•Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin•Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation and negotiating skills.•Ability to write clear and concise reports and business correspondence•Ability to assess compliance with Company policies and procedures•Ability to recognize and advise management on conditions that could lead to fraud.•Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition and handles stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization•Proven team player but can work independently•High energy level with a sense of urgency (can work around tight timelines)•Results oriented•Willingness to travel within Asia Pac locations (up to 50%) and occasionally to the US or Europe
