Position:Samsung Technical Solutions Associate
Summary: Provide technical assistance to communication system users. Specialists are responsible for answering questions, making changes, or resolving problems associated with the communication system for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location.
Education/Experience: Associates degree in Computer / Telecommunications / Data networking related fields or equivalent training required. Entry level to 2 years' experience required.
Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of Data Networking is strongly recommended, and Computer skills such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software is beneficial.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Day to day maintenance of 3000 port communications systems. Answer user inquiries regarding software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities. Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Must be able to be professional around high profile executives.
