Presales Engineer - Infrastructure

As a Presales Engineer, you'll be working in tandem with sales representatives to sell and promote a company's products and IT solutions to the Clients in you assigned geographical areas (Paris, Ile-de-France). You'll be delivering customized demos and presentations, conducting trainings and webinars and providing technical advice and support for customers. You'll be also participating in technology fairs and events.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise in VmWare infrastructure (servers, data storage, Firewall solutions, etc.)
  • Support the business teams in the development, construction of offers to the clients
  • Interaction with the partners, identification of the needs and business opportunities and technical consultancy
  • Regular customer visits in the assigned area
  • Creation of PoC (proof of concepts) within the real customers environment with the different technical solutions of Arrow
  • Continuously being trained in the latest technologies

What We Are Looking For:
  • minimum 5 years of the professional experience in the sector
  • Education background: Bac+5, general Engineer Schools (ENSAM, Les Mines) or IT specialized Engineer Schools (ESIEA, ESIEE, ENSAE, EPITA, EFREI ...)
  • Excellent knowledge of infrastructure/storage/servers/network
  • Knowledge of VmWare mobility tools (Horizon, Airwatch, Workspace One) will be a plus
  • Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology
  • Ability to identify and resolve partners issues with excelling at prioritization of the workload
  • French and English business language fluent
  • Ability to cooperate and to work within the team
