Summary:Arrow is seeking a dynamic Technical Writer / Content Contributor to join the Arrow Internet of Things Team and deliver best-in-class content across our IoT programs. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing team of digital marketers and engineers and you will have access to groundbreaking technology while helping craft digital transformation for a Fortune 150 company. In this one of a kind opportunity, you will experience a start-up type culture with the support of a globally successful enterprise.As the Technical Writer / Content Contributor, you will focus on writing and editing technical articles, white papers, and marketing materials for You will be keeping a close eye on the IoT industry and technological trends, and generating rare content aimed at IoT Personas.We are looking for a deeply competent writer, with a real passion for engineering, software, technology, and / or embedded electronics. Writing assignments will range from long-form thought leadership articles to digital banner ads, video scripts to newsletter copy, and everything in between. You’ll be working within the framework of an editorial calendar to build content that drives engagement, reaches new audiences, and provides Arrow’s customers with meaningful value. You will also work with our supplier marketing team to invent best-in-class new product introductions, technology insight pieces, and thought-leadership articles around’s world-class partner eco-system.


  • Write and edit.
  • Research for tech trends and article support.
  • Review of content prior to publication.
  • Author technical articles, white papers, and other digital content.
  • Transcribe technical conversations with industry luminaries.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third party vendors and luminaries.
  • Ensure publication standards in the fields of grammar, language and design.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, English, Journalism, or Technical Writing with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong familiarity with electrical engineering, software engineering, embedded technology or the electronics industry.
  • Significant ability to write, edit, and interview.
  • Creative, adaptable and comfortable with new media trends.
  • Strong ability to self-manage, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively handle diverse responsibilities and multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize project work.
  • Teammate mentality.
