Inventory Control Associate I

Position Summary

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the inventory accuracy, generating daily cycle counts, performing daily cycle counts in finished goods (FG) and all WIP (work in process) locations and reconciling all discrepancies in an accurate and timely fashion. Help with and drive to completion any quarterly physical inventories, perform OBA (out of box audits ) inventory audits to maintain accuracy, and perform investigations with other departments for root cause analysis with all inventory discrepancies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cycle counts on Finished Goods (FG) and Work In Process (WIP) locations
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of all inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct inventory adjustments Write ups in the Oracle system to turn into Finance.
  • Conduct random OBA audits of Finish Goods (FG)
  • Participate in inventory-related events assigned by the Inventory Manager to research, review and implement long-term resolutions to inventory-related issues
  • Maintain all document storage to support and meet all Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) and Arrow Electronics company compliance and safety programs.
  • Support the ReSolve sales team on any special projects and special customer requirements.
  • Support the Operations group at any time when needed for inventory issues.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus some technical training or college
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment including a forklift
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficiency in Arrow systems (Oracle/QTrade/)
  • Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on quick problem resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of current value recovery processes
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
