immixGroup, and Arrow company, is in search of a Billing Specialist to add to our corporate finance division. This highly visible role is critical to maximizing company cash flow and will interface with multiple parties within the organization, as well as externally to our partner, customer and client community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Validate invoices from manufacturers for accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation
  • Ensure that all customer purchase order requirements are thoroughly reviewed and that ensuing invoices match purchase order requirements
  • Generate accurate and timely invoices with a low to nil rate of errors
  • Meet minimum productivity standards for number of invoices per day/month
  • Submit customer and partner invoices to prescribed online portals within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines
  • Resolve billing issues with customers within established SLA timelines
  • Liaise with internal collection and sales staff to resolve billing issues within established SLA timelines
  • Serve as the company’s primary billing and dispute resolution contact with immixGroup account managers, project managers and AR Analysts, with prompt responsiveness and issue closure
  • Provide support for internal audits
  • Prepare monthly journal entries including month end accruals
  • Assist in monthly close process

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent billing experience within the Government sector
  • Must have the availability to work overtime as needed
  • Must also have the availability to work extra hours at the end of every month

Highly Desirable Attributes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to resolve both immediate issues and the underlying process issues that cause them
  • Reconciliation and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong math and analytical skills
