Job Description:

● Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff

● Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units

● Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities

● Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility

● Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives

● Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems

● Manages large teams of professionals and/or junior managers

Experience / Education

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent related experience.

  • Principal Accountabilities

● Leading complex cross functional and global projects.

(New process introduction (design) and transformation of existing processes)

● Leads project calls, assigns work and manages project to timeline and outcomes.

● Stakeholder management—Leads stakeholder management sessions and keeps various management abreast of potential issues by maintaining open lines of communication.

● Creation of project related process documents.

● Assist in training and mentoring new and existing employees with regard to policies and procedures related to project outcomes (for both Project Management and Green Belt disciplines).

● Black Belt Certified/Leading Green Belt Trainings.

● PMP Certified.

  • ● 3rd Party Vendor Management.

● Management of staff.

● Leading Global Continuous Improvement Strategy.

Job Complexity

  • Establish and Manage PMO for Digital including processes, procedures, reporting, and tracking methodologies and tools aligned to wider Arrow process
  • Establish and manage an appropriate team of Project Managers to support the Portfolio including contract resources to flex appropriately
  • Work in collaboration with Technology, Data and Business leads to effectively phase activities in an agile manner
  • Experience in industrial distribution and/or electronics preferred
  • Experience running a PMO and/or managing project managers and/or BA's required
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies required
