Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities• Perform day-to-day functional responsibility and identify and evaluate risk and exposure; recommend appropriate action.• Ability to partner strategically with executive management. • Manage internal and external engagements for assigned projects as necessary.• Present to management regarding special projects and leadership activities, which rely on a sound conclusions.• Train and educate employees on day-to-day functional responsibilities.• Set and communicate direction for team in order to deliver results in line with strategic goals. • May need intermittent guidance from senior management to develop staff for optimal team performance.• Reporting-Responsible for producing and issuing periodic reports regarding general subject matter and or business areas, performing basic analysis when necessary for internal and external purposes.• Identify, document, test, and remediate potential risk areas and support the maintenance of Arrow's compliance. • Provide information and documentation to internal and external audit requests. • Participate in cross-functional teams on accounting/finance special projects that will require gaining an understanding of the business, the processes that support the business and working with other Arrow personnel to discover the root cause of the issue and develop a reasonable solution.• Maintain current awareness and documentation of compliance rules and regulations.• Supervise and assign responsibility to staff to enhance their professional development and provide staff with on-the-job training on technical issues.Job Complexity• Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s)• Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function• Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan• Accountable performance and results of the regional team • Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions• Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplinesExperience / Education• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4 year degree
