The Financial Analyst will work in the Global Reverse Logistics group to support complex financial planning and analysis including annual planning, monthly forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, variance analysis, and also participate on various global projects. The individual should be passionate about the use of technology to solve business problems and must possess advanced Excel skills as well as strong accounting/finance knowledge. Key personal characteristics include motivation, attention to accuracy, priority setting, customer service orientation, and drive to meet deadlines. The ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment and strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with field and corporate FP&A groups as well as accounting to ensure consistent and accurate results
  • Provide support for monthly/quarterly analysis of financial results for all aspects of financial statements, including gross margin, operating income, inventory, net working capital, and cash flow
  • Assist annual planning by owning modeling updates, coordinating inputs, and working with cross functional stakeholders
  • Help prepare analytical presentations and other financial and strategic solutions for management, Executive Committee, and Board level consumption
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-pace environment by quickly understanding problems and defining efficient solutions through improved processes and tools
  • Support a wide variety of ad hoc analyses and initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent degree required
  • Ability to consistently produce high quality analysis within tight deadlines by prioritizing, identifying roadblocks, and collaborating with colleagues and management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service and the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Team player who excels in collaborative environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hyperion/Essbase
  • Fortune 500 Business Finance / FP&A experience
