As a Lighting Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating profitable sales in new and existing accounts in the defined territory. You will call on accounts, provide product information and follow up on quotes to close business for Arrow. You will also be responsible for coordinating sales efforts with inside sales and providing flow of data on accounts, competitors and suppliers to product management. Finally, you will interface with engineering to create demand for Arrow Suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales with existing account base.
  • Build and develop key relationships with new and existing lighting accounts.
  • Work with the inside sales team to ensure competitive quotes.
  • Identify and manage beyond obstacles to deliver results that exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain communications with internal contacts such as Regional Sales Management, Inside Sales and Product Management through conference calls and team meetings.
  • Take point in the resolution of customer issues and conduct strategic planning.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years previous lighting industry sales experience. LED or SSL preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience soliciting business from both existing and potential new accounts.
  • The ability to react promptly to a changing environment.
  • A strong understanding of electronic distribution and lighting sales channels.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Outlook.

Strong organizational skills and time management.
