Summary:

As a Field Sales Representative you will build & maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow colleagues to create demand for products on the Arrow line card by proactively offering solutions from an engineering and supply chain perspective. You will also provide product presentation, technical product support, sales opportunity identification, and technical design assistance for the sales team as well as your own assigned accounts. This position will focus on many suppliers. The FSR will be involved in the customers-design cycle from concept to production in order to secure as many designs as possible on a customer’s end product, working directly with customers on concepts, new designs, procurement, and supply chain solutions. As well as communicating with local and corporate management on new opportunities, performance of territory, identification of potential performance risks of territory, and escalating customer issues/concerns as needed.

Requirements:

  • Aerospace & Defense Industry experience (Electronics Distribution) – preferred
  • 2-3 years sales experience and/or design engineering preferred
  • Distribution experience preferred
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Requires a self-starter who has the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with pressure
  • Time management, organization and customer service skills
  • Excellent presentation design and delivery skills as well as ability to drive programs and manage projects
  • Ability to sell, negotiate, persuade and influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of customer and supplier
