Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

The ETL Developer (Specialist) is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and support of Data Warehouse Extract/Transform/Load applications, Data Extracts for ad hoc reporting, and application to application data integration using Application Programming Interface and Web Services technologies.

Job Requirements

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with data extract and integration tools and techniques.

Requires knowledge and experience with typical ERP and Custom App data architectures

Works independently; receives minimal guidance

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

May be asked to evaluate new technologies

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Contributes to process improvements

Experience

Microsoft SSIS and custom SQL development for extracts

Middleware tools such as Web Methods, MuleSoft

API/Web Services (SOAP, REST) development and SaaS integration required

Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Database required, Oracle DB a plus

Microsoft Dynamics CRM and AX knowledge required, Oracle ERP a plus

PaaS (AZURE, AWS) development for data solutions a major plus

Visual data extract and analysis tools (Alteryx) a major plus

Travel Requirement

0 – 25%

Experience / Education

Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
