Job Description:

The main function of this role is to provide expert internal and external customer service and sales support to both the Inside Sales Team and customer engagements. The CSR will also assist with maintaining performance expectations to further enhance NIC’s position with each customer.

Major Functions

  • Order Management:
  • Critical expediting/escalation for orders
  • Direct interface with customers on PO change requirements
  • Order Entry (EDI, PDF)
  • Proactively notify customers for change in deliveries
  • Manage all invoice inquiries
  • Manage all issues related to pricing, returns, and defective inventory
  • Resolve all freight issues
  • Assist to alleviate excess inventory at the National Distributors
  • Understand and maximize NIC Components profitability
  • Manage National Distribution Backlog
  • Maintain team relationships both internal and external
  • Interface with Product Management
  • Manage all customer contacts
  • Contact point for immediate order requirements
  • Direct report to the Inside Sales Manager

Education, Knowledge, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in order management systems and EDI
  • Customer service experience of 3-5 years
  • High School diploma
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Concentrates on specifics despite distractions, Catches errors before completing tasks
  • Maintains high quality standard for his/her work
  • Seeks knowledge about all aspects of his/her business, is aware of his/her strengths and/or weakness, seeks developmental feedback
  • Analytical and Problem Solver
  • Maintains a positive attitude
