Our department is expanding, and Arrow is looking for a Compensation Manager to join the team in our Englewood, CO location.

Global Compensation Manager

Responsible for supporting strategic global business objectives through the design, implementation and execution of Arrow’s global compensation programs. The manager is a key business partner to the global HR function and responsible for successfully managing global relationships while providing compensation support and guidance to assigned business units. This position partners with the HR Consultants and Managers to understand business strategy and key drivers to appropriately link to compensation programs. This manager is responsible for supporting assigned business clients in the Americas region as well as working on global compensation projects.

More specifically, the manager will:

Annual Proxy Support: Manage the collection of compensation information and the completion of the compensation-related tables in the CD&A of the annual proxy. Work with the Corporate Legal, HR and SEC Reporting teams to ensure the the CD&A material is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Global Compensation Review: Support the design, implementation and execution of the global compensation review initiative to include the internal global grading system and REWARD system. This may include management of survey participation and data review, position evaluation process, job structure development, job documentation process, etc.

M&A: Lead the successful integration of compensation practices and policies on mergers and acquisitions for assigned businesses groups.

Compensation Consulting: Consults with Human Resources business partners to facilitate management and employee understanding of Arrow’s total reward systems. Educates, mentors, and trains Human Resources staff and managers on compensation processes, practices, and programs. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Recommends solutions to resolve compensation-related issues.

Analytics: Provide technical and analytical support on major global projects relating to compensation evaluation, compensation plan design and global rewards strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; plus a minimum of 7 years prior compensation experience including progressively more complex compensation assignments

International and/or executive compensation experience is strongly preferred.

Expert understanding of Compensation principles practices and trends.

Proven client relationship skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member, establish and maintain effective working relationships in a global environment across multiple functions and job levels. Experience interfacing with executive-level management required.

Prior experience consulting client groups on compensation issues/policy interpretation and design, as well as implementation of base and variable pay plans. Ability to assess situations, understand compensation implications and form a plan to address issues. Ability to understand problems, get to the root cause and apply realistic solutions within company/HR policy and practice framework.

Ability to independently manage projects, working directly with clients to understand needs, design project plans to appropriately meet objectives and see engagement through completion.

Ability to keep sensitive human resources and compensation information highly confidential.

Excellent organizational skills.

Advanced Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Proficient use of HRIS systems (Workday, Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft) and compensation related web applications (REWARD preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration/Management

CCP (WorldatWork)

Knowledge of industry and competitive market

International experience
