Business Operation Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the implementation and ERP configuration of new supply chain engagements or complex solutions & system set-ups.
  • Review and maintenance of existing customer engagements, ensuring that the solution meets the engagement goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing engagements.
  • Liaison with other Arrow teams to ensure that the business systems are aligned in meeting the customer requirements. For example, customer-defined labelling (Logistics team), EDI and file Accelerator (B2B team)
  • Training the sales teams in the day-to-day management of their supply chain customers
  • Joint responsibility with sales on developing new and enhanced supply chain tools that are provided by the ERP system.
  • Reporting on engagement key performance metrics. Identifying (and where necessary, escalating) non-conformance to expectations or terms and conditions.
  • Execution of controlled tasks such as fee-for-service invoicing (Nitrogen storage, CARES8).
  • Supporting the other departments with operational value-add and expertise in handling complex solutions and system processes, e.g. providing reporting and consultation support in SC reviews or governing and supporting consignment audits and reconciliation
  • Building the support infrastructure for the growing 'Services' portfolio in EMEA
Your Profile:
  • Knowledge of electronic component industry and relevant supply chain and manufacturing practises
  • Sound technical understanding of Arrow's ERP system capabilities preferred
  • Very good MS Office skills (high level of proficiency in Excel is a distinct advantage)
  • Functional and structural way of thinking
  • Ability to understand complex processes and logic and to be able to interpret sometimes ambiguous data, received in a number of ways and to translate into a solution, using logic and solution understanding.
