Summary:

This user-experience manager position is responsible for leading design across AspenCore Studio with extended responsibilities across the greater AspenCore organization. Partnering with AspenCore sales and in concert with greater teams across AspenCore to define and execute user experience across AspenCore media properties. This is a client facing role, where you will have multiple projects running simultaneously. Explore new design strategies. Investigate customer requirements / challenges while providing innovative ideas and solutions. This job is in in Denver or Remote. Frequent travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all design proposals across AspenCore (lead internal brainstorms, consult and present with sales representation to clients, resource allocation, manage content focused content production and design, participate in client reviews).
  • Manage all project deliverables (deliver final proposal; develop marketing content framework; work across AspenCore Studio to define overall project content and editorial framework).
  • Supervises freelance and vendor design outreach. Negotiates cost and sets schedules for outside creative and production services with little or no supervision.
  • Supervise team project execution (Communicate with internal and external project solutions teams are delivering against established timeline).
  • Manage project budgets for design team (ensure that content solutions team stays on budget.)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Eight years of digital marketing and/or design studio experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience leading a design team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Communications, design related field or equivalent experience.
  • Must be comfortable in high-pressure situations due to project deadlines.
  • Customer focused.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required.
  • Strong technical acumen including software development
  • Building a budget/ budget management and experience in cost recovery methodology
  • Experience with Asana / Quickbase or similar project management software.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents. Can effectively communicate orally and in written form to all levels within the organization and externally.
  • Must have excellent documentation, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Must have developed diplomacy skills used to guide, persuade and influence others internally and externally.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
  • Ability to forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
