We are searching for a Workstream Lead - Policy to join us on our US Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Argo US businesses, processes, products, and systems in order to serve as subject matter expert on the designated Duck Creek system implementation workstream. They should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing landscape. Additionally, they should be committed to helping us become a truly digital organization.

  • Deep understanding and expertise around underwriting processes and procedures.

  • Engaging, motivating, and supporting Argo business leads as well as various functional areas across the organization to embrace improved underwriting processes and functions through the new Duck Creek platform.

  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and IT Business Analysts in order to gather, create, and document Duck Creek system requirements.

  • Proactively seeking commonalities, developing best practices, and identifying opportunities to simplify the Duck Creek system implementation, when possible.

  • Identifying program gaps and risks, as well as proactively engaging with key stakeholders to analyze, evaluate, and find solutions to overcome them.

  • Navigating Argo networks and resources to provide sign-off for business requirements.

  • Defining development cycle goals and effectively prioritizing project work.

  • Delivering against established project budget, goals, and objectives to ensure successful implementation.


What's required for the position:

  • 5 years' Property and Casualty Underwriting experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of underwriting process and procedures.

  • Deep understanding of US Admitted and Non-Admitted products.

  • Demonstrated project management skills. Strong financial acumen.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to gain trust and confidence from business and functional leaders.

  • Passionate about problem solving.

  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
