About the Opportunity
In this role, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a variety of Human Resource administrative duties. Facilitates daily HR functions and efficiently ensuring start to finish coordinating of HR Projects and Operations for the HR team.

In this role, the successful candidate will:
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions as well as responding to internal and external HR related inquiries, and distributes correspondence to the appropriate person on the team.
• Supports the recruitment and hiring process by tracking requisitions, posting positions, updating the recruitment tracker, and assisting in sourcing candidates as needed.
• Schedules meetings and interviews in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Schedules orientation, processes background requests, and creates new hire files.
• Creates and distributes Human Resources reports including Headcount, Recruiting, and Benefit-related data.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Submits new hire online background check requests.
• Organizes, maintains and updates employee files and the HR information system (HRIS).
• Fosters positive employee relations and works to solve employee issues.
• Ensures all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and saved.
• Provides timely assistance to team members regarding questions and issues.
• Provides written and verbal employment verifications.
• Updates job descriptions, as needed.
• Coordinates and sets up training meetings, and updates the training database.
• Assists with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
• Assists in preparation of special events and office or company gatherings.
• Other duties as assigned.

What does it take to be successful?
• High school diploma or GED and two years' of experience required or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems preferred.
• Able to process data with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Positive and go-getter attitude.
• Willing to take initiative and work independently.
• Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
