Founded as a precious metals company in South Africa,Argenhas evolved into a dynamic, technology-based manufacturing organization focused on three key business segments, including dental alloys, zirconia, and digital dentistry solutions.Argencontinues to invest in innovative product improvement initiatives through its Quality Management System to provide our global customers with affordable, high-performance products and industry-leading excellent service.Argen’sproducts are FDA regulated and ISO certified.<br><br>About the Opportunity<br><br>TheEngineering Technicianassists engineers with research and development, quality control, equipment implementation or design.<br><br>In this role, the successful candidate will be:<br><ul><li><br>Creates solutions to complex technical problems.<br></li></ul><ul><li><br>Assists Manufacturing Engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes.<br></li><li><br>Support Engineers to conduct Engineering Studies.<br></li><li><br>Performs extensive research and development during creation phase of product.<br></li><li><br>Inspects products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.<br></li><li><br>Conducts tests and collect data.<br></li></ul><ul><li><br>Assists in product design, development, and production.<br></li><li><br>Sets up and test new equipment.<br></li><li><br>Utilizes CAD software for basic design tasks, such asSolidworks.<br></li><li><br>Designs, develops, tests, and support manufacturing of special tooling/fixtures.<br></li><li><br>Calibrates equipment.<br></li></ul><ul><li><br>Other duties as assigned.<br></li></ul>What does it take to be successful?<br><ul><li><br>Associate’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering preferred.<br></li><li><br>Experience with 3D printers (setting them up, runningprints,…) FDM, Resin type printers<br></li></ul><ul><li><br>Knowledge of Installation Qualification (IQ) process for equipment preferred.<br></li></ul>Our Awesome Benefits!<br><br>Working for a growing innovative company likeArgenmeans exciting opportunities for training and learning, career development and advancement from only the best in the dental industry.
