Position Summary
Arcesium seeks a highly motivated, critical thinker to join our Financial Operations team. As an Operations Associate the candidate will interact with one of our largest clients (including trading desks), investor relations, and financial and management reporting teams), counterparties, and internal software development groups daily. The candidate will collaborate with colleagues in our international offices and have the opportunity to work on special projects, which could include historical analyses for new fund launches, metrics analysis, and investigation of pricing volatility.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Accuracy of P&L
- Month End Trade Accounting
- Perform trade settlements and break investigation
- Process lifecycle events
- Work on industry and regulatory initiatives
- Deal Funding, Deal structuring and analysis, wire movements
- 4-6 years of trade support experience at a hedge fund, investment manager, or other financial services firm
- Experience with settlements, reconciliations, and accounting is a plus, as is previous work with loans, private securities, and fixed income securities
- Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication skills are imperative
- The candidate will be a driven self-starter who is proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
- The candidate must be comfortable presenting in front of a variety of audiences, including senior management and external counterparts.
- A degree in accounting, economics, finance, business, math is needed
The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
