Senior Manager, People OperationsThe People Operations & Analytics team provides AppNexus with People processes, systems, and insights to help attract, engage, and develop AppNexians. As the leader of the People Operations team, the Senior Manager will focus on driving People-oriented initiatives and managing a team who oversee HR and Benefits Administration. The role is a good fit for someone with a background in consulting, or someone who is process-oriented, loves driving change within an organization, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.About the team:The People Team is responsible for finding the best talent and ensuring that all employees continue to be excited, productive, and passionate about working at AppNexus. To achieve our mandates, our team is service-oriented, proactive, and responsive to our internal business partners.About the job:Drive initiatives with structured project delivery techniquesDecompose complex problems into clear actionable plansPartner with business leadership across the organization to ensure projects and initiatives deliver well defined business outcomesAct as trusted advisors; share best practices with AppNexians to improve execution rigor across the companyOwn the execution and success of key People initiatives relating to process improvement and systems to drive world-class People OperationsCollaborate with leaders within People team and across the company to understand their operational needs, propose solutions, and implement solutions thereafterDrive quarterly and annual strategic planning and budgeting processes for the People orgOwn the overall suite of tools used across the different People functionsLead project and change management efforts when rolling out People-oriented processes or tools across the companyManage the People and Benefits administration team to ensure AppNexians are receiving outstanding employee experienceAbout your skills:7+ years of post-university experience in a role where you were personally responsible driving complex projects to completion3+ years in consulting or investment banking ideally with experience interfacing with executive stakeholders preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleExpertise in visually telling a story with data to secure alignment with cross-functional partnersBA/BS degreeConsultative problem solver with proven success working collaboratively to influence othersProven success in designing and executing process improvement efforts through simple yet effective processes, leveraging effective project management, and thoughtfully implementing change managementStrong management skills and operational mindsetProven ability to decompose complex opportunities and problems into well-defined projectsStrong “ownership” mentality and a bias for actionProven ability to drive results in a high-growth, rapid change environment with flexibility and willingness to adapt and changeStrong knowledge of Excel and PowerPointHiring Manager:Cathy GutierrezRecruiter:Krista Miller
