Senior Enablement Consultant

The Senior Field Enablement Consultant will own a set of Sales and/or Services training programs from start-to-finish. This role is responsible for collaborating on training development, delivering technical training courses and engaging with field teams to measure the effectiveness of the course material. This person will empower our partners in the field to learn and teach with their clients while equipping them to excel in their roles.

About the team:

The Field Enablement team’s mission is to ensure that AppNexus’ commercial and services teams are equipped with the highest-priority knowledge, skills, processes and behaviors to optimize customer interactions. We manage sales and services training programs from start to finish to help our field partners excel in their roles and empower them to learn and teach with our clients. We engage with Instructional Designers, subject matter experts and vendors to deliver best in class training to the business.

About the job:

  • Own the overall vision, packaging, delivery and continual improvement of a set of sales and/or services training programs
  • Assume start-to-finish program management accountability for the set of offerings, including success metrics
  • Co-create world-class training content with Instructional Design and field team partners to support the programs you lead
  • Build strong cohorts and connectivity before, during and after your enablement programs to encourage shared accountability for outcomes and behavioral change with field teams
  • Tailor and drive adoption of centrally selected tools, processes, and programs to drive field team productivity and continuous learning (i.e. Salesforce activity tracking, Litmos e-learning, peer coaching programs)
  • Channel training content feedback from the field back to Instructional Design to support continual content evolution
  • Define scalable processes and identify efficiencies to improve the internal stakeholder experience

About your skills:

  • 3+ years of work experience with at least a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Strong project/program management skills with demonstrated ability to drive outcomes with an ownership mindset
  • Experience with group facilitation, coaching and/or teaching
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt training approaches to meet the needs of all learners
  • Strong experience scoping, designing and delivering training/education programs with measurable impact on stakeholders
  • Ability to influence without direct control through collaboration and mutual understanding
  • Consultative approach to understanding requirements and challenges and translating these into opportunities in order to craft solutions
  • High level of accountability and superb execution skills
  • Previous experience in sales or services is a plus
