Senior Account Manager
Senior Account ManagerAppNexus is seeking an Senior Account Manager to join the Commercial team in our rapidly growing business in the APAC region. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a book of business consisting of publishers and trading desks in APAC. Responsibility includes driving revenue, cultivating senior relationships, as well as the day-to-day oversight of these clients.About the job:Manage a portfolio of accounts based in APAC (India, SEA, Greater China) comprised of publishers and trading desks, and develop relationships with our external supply and demand partners in the regionAct as evangelist for the AppNexus technologies and services to drive AppNexus to become preferred partner amongst new and existing clientsDrive incremental revenue opportunities within existing clients being their advisor and build meaningful relationships from C-level to ad operationsFor identified markets, help build and develop a market strategy, intelligence and liquidity connecting buyers and sellersBuild a deep understanding of the AppNexus product and product vision, and provide AppNexus product leaders deep insight into client, market, and competitor activity to inform product roadmapAbout your skills:Bachelor’s degree (technical degree (BS/MS) or MBA would be a plus)Relevant experience in sales/ management within the software or advertising industry preferredDemonstrable experience selling to senior executives and establishing and managing client relationshipsExperience or understanding of the common enterprise sales methodology (opportunity identification, establishment of budget and decision makers required to close and a proven ability to move deals through this process)Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible value to AppNexusAbility to initiate and drive opportunities independentlySolid understanding of DSPs, DMPs, media technologies and overall digital media planning and buying landscape (not required, but a big plus)More about you:You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
