People CounselAppNexus is seeking a bright, energetic employment lawyer to join our Legal Team. In this role, you will report directly to our Chief Legal and People Officer and will advise the company on employment issues ranging from employee policies, executive compensation and employee benefits, employment-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions and our diversity and inclusion strategy. Other areas of employment law include worker classification, noncompetition agreements and other restrictive covenants, discrimination and anti-retaliation laws. You will also draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and policies, noncompetition agreements, separation agreements and other employment related documents. Your internal clients, who will include AppNexus’ People team and business leaders across multiple functions within AppNexus, will rely on your ability to understand and assess legal risks and business objectives and to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
