Implementation Consultant/ Technical Client ManagerThe Japan IC/TCM would be part of a 3-person Account Team supporting Yahoo! Japan (YJ!) (PM, AD, IC/TCM), responsible for YJ’s success. The IC/TCM would report locally into the Japan team.The core role and responsibilities are aligned with the standard IC job description; however, the role is a combination of IC and TCM tasks.About the job:Become a deep expert in YJ tech stack, organization and operationsAct as the ultimate relationship owner/stakeholder with the YJ Support teamAct as the liaison between client and the AppNexus PS team (1 named FTE support currently based in Singapore + pooled support across time zones)In partnership with the rest of the YJ Account Team, act as the liaison/communicator between the AppNexus tech org and YJ teams (e.g. Tech Status meetings between Ben John and YJ, incident communication management, etc.)Own YJ projects (or parts of projects) that are ongoing or newly launched. Some examples: 1) roll out of new formats (video, native, streaming TV) 2) ALI optimization improvement projects 3) SSM-related work (self-serve DSP) 4) next launch phases of YJ SSP 5) Yahoo Shopping projects. For these projects, act as a liaison between AppNexus product teams and YJ.About your skills:Japanese language skills are NOT a requirement but a significant advantageTimeline commitment: ideally an 18-month commitment;Ability to work across cultures and time zones. Experience working Internationally a plusAbility to work in an unstructured environment. The members of the YJ Account Team wear many hats as the nature of work is very dynamicAbility to work in a small team, in an “all hands-on deck”/entrepreneurial modeClosely collaborate and coordinate work with remote AppNexus offices (mainly NYC but also Sydney, Singapore and London).
