Head of Business Development, APACAppNexus is looking for a Head of Business Development based from our Singapore office to prospect, evaluate, and close new business opportunities in APAC and beyond. As a primary point of contact for many of our most strategic and complex prospects and clients, the Head of Business Development will play a key role in driving revenue and ensuring AppNexus meets short- and long-term business goals.The ideal candidate has a track record of closing solutions-based technology deals while successfully managing long sales cycles, obtaining executive buy-in from all senior levels, and demonstrating strong project management and follow-through. This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant, high-performing team within a dynamic, industry-leading company.About the Job:Proactively engage in new business conversations with prospects and upsell opportunities within our existing buy-side client baseBuild and maintain strong relationships cross-functionally, ensuring clients are provided with the product and service offering that drive both platform adoption and client successUtilise a deep understanding of AppNexus technology to develop the business strategy, technical integration and long-term partnership value with prospective clients through collaboration with Solutions Engineering and ProductBuild the AppNexus brand and knowledge of our technology at industry events.About your skills:7+ years of direct experience in market working in an ad-tech or solution based business in region; experience working across agencies, publishers or partners in advertising desirableExperience in managing long sales cycles with cross-departmental teamsDemonstrable experience in exceeding sales/business development targetsExcellent negotiation skills, persistence and follow-through with accountsConsultative and solutions-based sales experience; formal sales training is a plusExcellent communication skills, and an ability to interpret complex technical issues and translate into business needsBA/BS DegreeFluency in English required.
