Field Operations ManagerAppNexus is looking for an Operations Manager to join our rapidly growing organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to drive success for their teams. As a Field Operations Manager, you’ll provide primary field support for 3 to 5 Commercial, Product, and Services VPs from the early planning and idea stages through completion and execution of plans. No day will be similar to the day before it as your multiple projects take you on a different journey each time.About the team:Field Operations ensures that AppNexus scales its organization, processes, systems and execution effectively and efficiently. We partner with senior executives and go-to-market teams to drive strategic planning, lead critical strategic initiatives, and launch new capabilities. We tackle tough operational problems, deliver analytics and insight to drive decision-making, identify impediments to scaling, and drive continuous process improvement.About the job:One of the core responsibilities of the job is to lead part of the yearly planning process for your executive leaders, which involves multiple components:Identify gaps in current operational and planning processesQuantify financial impact from remediating (or choosing not to remediate) those gapsDevelop a staffing or technology solution to achieve business objectivesSecure alignment from numerous cross-functional partnersOperationalize the planning efforts to bring them to fruitionReport on success and challenges to multiple levels of the organizationWhile leading the Planning and Execution efforts, you’ll also keep an eye towards improvements that can be made for future planning cycles and across other commercial/product intersectionsAbout your skills:Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing major cross-functional projects or initiatives that touch multiple VP or C-Level business partnersExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management styleExpertise in visually telling a story with data to secure alignment with cross-functional partnersPrevious experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)More about you:You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
