Director, Partner Management

The Director, Partner Management is responsible for managing a team of Partner Managers, developing a book of business and assisting in new business generation for AppNexus partnerships across EMEA. Responsibility includes owning a revenue target, cultivating senior partner relationships at top clients in the industry. Working with the global teams to ensure best practices for partners across all markets the Director, Partner Management is a central point of ownership for all things partner related for EMEA. About the team:

Marketplace Partners is a global team responsible for managing some of the largest companies in the online advertising landscape including demand side platforms, sell side platforms and data companies. Our focus is to drive revenue for the AppNexus Marketplace and ensure we have access to other leading marketplaces with a focus on quality, efficiency and brand safety. Our team is seeking innovative, passionate, and driven people who can foster strong client relationships, beat revenue targets, and drive awareness of our products, all whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment.

About the job:

  • Manage and develop team of Partner Managers based in EMEA
  • Develop strong understanding of the AppNexus products in conjunction with our partner’s businesses and technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities and goals as well as the advertising technology industry and competitive landscape
  • Act as regional lead for global partners working with the global account owner to create, support and drive all projects impacting EMEA business
  • Day-to-day ownership of AppNexus’ largest partners including creation and execution of shared account plans
  • Leverage analytics from the AppNexus Marketplace and translate into revenue generating projects
  • Work with new business teams to identify and qualify new partnerships across EMEA
  • Closely partner with internal technical services team and regional leads to create to ensure understanding of goals for top clients
  • Act as internal advocate for AppNexus partners by working with internal product teams to shape product roadmap
  • Participation in regional events to including conferences, client forums and trainings


About your skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience in partnership management or other related client-facing roles
  • Ability to develop and lead a team
  • Comfortable building and managing relationships at senior-levels
  • Proven ability to derive and effectively communicate insights from analyzing data
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with track record of exceeding goals
  • Willingness to share knowledge, facilitate team rapport, and maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships
  • Experience working across multiple markets preferred but not required
  • Experience with ad technology solutions preferred but not required
