Digital Marketing ManagerAppNexus is looking for an inspired, driven, and data-savvy Digital Marketing Manager to own the strategy and execution of AppNexus’ digital experience: websites, social media, SEO, and more. The candidate will play a critical role in the articulation of the AppNexus brand across all applicable digital channels and manage all aspects of the company’s principal web property, AppNexus.com. In partnership with additional resources as needed – agencies, designers, UX experts, copywriters – he/she will direct and project manage all aspects of site architecture, visual design, functionality, content, SEO, and reporting to deliver on the assigned objectives. The candidate is also responsible for the company’s social media properties (including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) and will work closely with Corporate Communications to craft an influencer-focused social strategy. From tweets to one-sheets, from media appearances to industry-hyped events and world conferences, we dazzle our industry peers, potential clients, and prospective hires.About the job:Lead the development and execution of the AppNexus global digital strategy, inclusive of website and socialLead the development of a new corporate website from strategy through to launch (define the global requirements, resources, schedule, and team needed to achieve brand and product objectives; lead the agency review process; manage ongoing editorial, technical, and resource requirements)Ensure fresh and timely content updates, integrating with and supporting other efforts as appropriate, including: content & campaigns, storytelling, product marketing, corporate communications, events, and recruitingProvide the leadership and project management required to ensure timely execution of site updates including design, functionality, copy, links and other site enhancement strategies, as appropriate, continually finding and planning for improvements to website visits, stickiness, and satisfactionDevelop a localization plan for owned content and work with translation software / vendors to expand the reach of premium digital contentProvide leadership and best practices for other corporate properties, social media experiences, and third-party sites (e.g. Slideshare, Facebook, etc.) continuously focusing on improving the design and usability to deliver on brand and product objectivesIdentify success metrics and implement regular reportingProactively mine our digital properties to identify what’s working (and what’s not) and incorporate those learnings into the digital roadmapAbout your skills:4-6 years of marketing, digital, and/or communications experience, preferably within the technology sectorExperience managing creative agencies and working knowledge of HTML/CSS preferredStrong communication, project management, time management and analytical skillsStrong orientation towards execution/task completionStrong planning and resource allocation, consensus building skillsAmbitious, self-motivated problem solver with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environmentEnthusiastic, high-energy individual that that thrives in a fast-paced environmentResourceful, highly creative, able to brainstorm and implement new ideasDemonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilitiesTeam player, ability to successfully operate in a matrix environmentHiring Manager:Veronique ValcuRecruiter:Krista Miller
