Account Manager, ParisAppNexus is seeking an Account Manager in Paris to join the EMEA Publisher-facing team. This person makes our clients incredibly successful by working alongside all levels of their organisations, retaining and growing their businesses by analytically identifying and solving problems. Account Managers develop a deep understanding of the AppNexus technology platform, as well as fostering their excellent commercial acumen.About the job:Lead and manage strategy, solutions, consultative selling and relationship-building with clientsDevelop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, the advertising technology industry and the competitive landscapeUnderstand clients’ strategies, KPIs, goals and ROI metrics to identify risks to clients achieving their business goals and develop risk mitigation plansSuggest and develop processes, products and services that will better achieve client objectivesDrive the creation and delivery of quarterly and annual business reviews with clients, highlighting progress against jointly agreed KPI’s and drive incremental businessTake charge of clients’ accounts and play an essential project-lead role: delegate projects, monitor workflow and ensure on-time delivery and effective issues resolutionDevelop and maintain meaningful long-term relationshipsat all levels of the clients’ businesses from C-level to Ad-ops.Effectively network the accounts at all levels; be a trusted advisor to ensure successful account plan execution and business growthDevelop an in-depth understanding of AppNexus’ Account Planning methodology, manage account planning process, and implement best practices within the account teamsActively promote AppNexus’ offerings and value to clients to identify ways of driving more revenueDevelop comprehensive and compelling proposals in response to RFPs and close dealsDrive new customer on-boarding through value sellingAbout your skills:Excellent understanding of technology enabled advertising, specifically premium ad serving and programmatic preferredExperience with strategic accounts with demonstrated consultative selling, contract negotiation and account development skillsProven track record in growing large complex accounts and closing deals with publishers/similar clientsStrong organizational skills and an eye for improvement or new initiativesBachelors degree (or higher)Fluency in both English and French requiredMore about you:You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
