AppNexus, a Xandr Company, is looking for an Account Manager to join the Northern Europe Commercial team, based in our London office. The Account Manager is responsible for working with our clients at all levels of their businesses - from C-suite to Ad Ops - to retain and grow their partnerships with AppNexus. Account Managers develop a deep understanding of the AppNexus technology platform, and the ideal candidate has excellent account management skills, is analytical and solutions-oriented, and possesses a keen commercial acumen.

Sales & Account Management is a driven and results-oriented organization that helps bring AppNexus’ digital advertising products to market. Our focus is building our clients’ businesses through leading-edge technology solutions and strategic business consulting. We develop and nurture relationships with a wide range of agencies & advertisers to help them grow their digital advertising business. Our team is seeking innovative, passionate, and driven people who can foster strong client relationships, meet sales quotas, and drive awareness of our products in a fast-paced environment.

About the job:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with strategic clients across Northern Europe
  • Understand client business needs in order to develop strategic partnerships and execute on these plans
  • Work closely with the Technical Account Management team to align and lead on initiatives required to achieve long term customer success
  • Manage cross-functional projects (e.g. Product, client or market specific)
  • Manage business and technical escalations, communicating with all stakeholders to maintain momentum and ensure success
  • Drive new customer on-boarding through value selling in collaboration with the new business team


About your skills and experience:

  • Strong account management/client-facing experience required
  • Programmatic experience (either agency, marketer direct, or ad-tech company) preferred
  • Experience working with advertising technology platforms is an advantage
  • Comfortable building and managing relationships at senior-levels
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Willingness to share knowledge, facilitate team rapport, and maintain excellent cross-functional partnerships
