Account Manager

Account Manager, EMEAThe Account Manager is responsible for creating and driving strategy across a varied book of business to ensure client success. Key to this role is the ability to drive an efficient process to client management allowing the offering to scale while maximizing results for publisher clients using header bidding technology. Account Managers develop a deep understanding of the AppNexus technology platform, and the ideal candidate has excellent stakeholder and project management skills, demonstration of analytical and data driven decision making, and commercial acumen.About the job:Lead and manage the relationship and strategy with clients individually and holistically across the book of business through consultative problem solvingDevelop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, the advertising technology industry and the competitive landscapeUnderstand the clients’ strategies, KPIs, goals, ROI metrics; identify risks to the customer achieving these business goals and develop a risk mitigation planSuggest and develop processes, products and services that will better achieve client objectives and scalability of the offeringTake charge of clients’ accounts and play an essential project-lead role: delegate projects, monitor workflow and ensure on-time delivery and effective issues resolutionDevelop an in-depth understanding of AppNexus’ Account Planning methodology, manage implementation and subsequent planning processes, and implement best practiceActively promote AppNexus’ offering and value to clients to identify ways of driving more revenueIdentify accounts with upside potential, qualifying opportunities appropriately, and consulting with clients to develop deepen product usage where appropriateEnsure a consistent and scalable approach to header bidding client management is established and refined in line with changing business needs, collaborating closely with and securing alignment with numerous cross-functional partners including marketing, operations, and servicesAbout your skills:Demonstrable relevant experience in Account Management or other related consultative roles with diverse stakeholder managementBachelor’s degree (or higher)Understanding of, and experience in, technology enabled advertising preferredSound decision making on where potential exists or does not in a business partnership or client relationship to ensure effective use of one’s timeDemonstrated commercial relationship, account development, partner management successStrong organizational skills and an eye for improvement or new initiativesFluency in English required, other European language skills a plusMore about you:You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
