In our Grenoble office, we provide advanced software solutions for semiconductors metrology.
Join a dynamic team of four developers working on the core engine of an innovative software product aimed at automating and accelerating manual recipe creation for Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) metrology.
Our project revolves around processing complex design files that describe intricate structures and their environments often containing thousands of polygons in diverse configurations. The team is currently developing three distinct algorithms, each with unique goals and levels of complexity, to tackle this challenge.
Internship Mission:
As an intern, your primary objective will be to design and implement a robust framework that facilitates the creation of geometric configurations and parameter sets. This framework will be essential for testing and validating the robustness and performance of our algorithms under a wide range of scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tools to generate synthetic test cases with varied geometrical complexity.
- Create parameter sets to simulate real-world conditions and edge cases.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate the framework into the existing testing pipeline.
- Analyze algorithm performance and contribute to optimization efforts.
What You'll Gain:
- Hands-on experience in algorithm development and testing.
- Exposure to cutting-edge SEM metrology applications.
- Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Mentorship from experienced developers and researchers.
Technical environment: Kotlin, Intellij, Gitlab, java
This internship is for you if you are:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in software development, you have initial experience (internship or academic project) in a Java/Cloud environment.
- Solid knowledge of Java and a strong desire to grow your skills in Kotlin
- A technical curiosity, demonstrated through the creation of personal projects
- A strong interest in development best practices and automation
- And last but not least, English is not a problem for you
