Key Responsibilities

This position reports directly to the Profitability Lead of MDP. As a key finance business partner, the candidate will anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and actively influence management with critical analysis and sound business advice. This role collaborates with various cross-functional organizations globally and requires the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.

Job Responsibilities:

This is a dynamic role that will enable the candidate to own responsibilities in financial analysis & reporting (FP&A). Will hold Gross Margin management and optimization in partnership with Operations. The position requires an individual who is eager to work across functions and levels to provide valued Finance support and consultation.

  • Own BU cost control and support financial submissions; drive cadence for SR, MQU, QBR, CMT, BSR submissions
  • Collaborate with ACE on Weekly P&L deliverables
  • Develop relationships with business stakeholders supporting BU strategy and profitability
  • Support the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment while organizing team members around a solution or approach
  • Support Gross Margin Leadership Team (GMLT), identify and help drive margin improvement initiatives, including but not limited to Sequoia and I&W
  • Support BU CFO/COO and work with Ops Controller on BU COS cost management (HC, Facilities, Inventory, DIO)
  • Support financial systems & processes including new profitability measurements
  • Work on aligning available resources to best support business needs; ensure team deliverables are completed on time and at a high quality
  • Forecasting & delivering predictable financial results, or where current model is off, is responsible for developing and driving mitigation/execution to get back on track.
  • Oversight over quarter close execution, including balance sheet management and GAAP/non-GAAP entries.
  • Process improvement in collaboration with peers in SPG

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive business experience
  • Experience with MFG and/or Engineering tech company preferred
  • Experience with enterprise level financial systems (SAP/BPC/Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting using Excel
  • Excellent communication skills including partnering with executive leaders and the greater finance team, providing recommendations and insights for strategic and operational decisions.

U.S. Salary Range:
$106,000.00 - $146,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
